Why Choose Insulated Glass
Cuts heating and cooling energy loss by up to 50% - lower air-conditioning and heating costs year round.
Prevents condensation and frost on the inner pane, keeping views clear in humid or cold climates.
Adds meaningful acoustic insulation - ideal for buildings near roads, railways and airports.
How We Make Insulated Glass
- Cutting & spacer assembly - Panes are cut and washed; aluminum or warm-edge spacers are bent to size and filled with desiccant.
- Sealing - The spacer is placed between panes with butyl seal, then the edge is double-sealed with polysulfide or silicone.
- Gas filling - For argon-filled units, air is displaced with argon to further improve the U-value.
- Quality control - Dew point, seal adhesion and dimensional checks per EN 1279 before crating.
FAQ
What is the difference between double and triple glazing?
Double glazing has two panes and one insulating cavity; triple glazing adds a third pane and second cavity for even better insulation and sound reduction. Triple glazing is popular for passive houses and cold climates, while double glazing with Low-E covers most projects.
Do you offer Low-E coated insulated glass?
Yes. We offer hard-coat and soft-coat Low-E in single, double and triple silver versions, combined with clear, tinted or reflective glass. Low-E + argon achieves U-values as low as 1.1 W/m2K.
Can insulated glass be tempered or laminated?
Yes - any pane in the unit can be tempered, laminated or both. Tempered + laminated insulated glass is common for balustrade-integrated facades and overhead glazing.
