What is the best type of glazing for a greenhouse?
There are three glazing options: toughened (tempered) glass, horticultural glass, and polycarbonate. Toughened glass is available in large panes and is significantly tougher than horticultural glass - if it breaks, it shatters into safe granules instead of sharp shards.
Is it necessary to double-glaze a greenhouse?
During cold weather, double glazing can help the greenhouse retain heat. In areas with moderate temperatures and mild winters, double glazing is unnecessary.
Is all greenhouse glass the same size?
